About Maria: American Maria Frances Louise Kanellis was born on February 25, 1982 in Ottawa, Illinois. She completed her graduation from Ottawa Township High School in 2000. Maria had a great interest in volleyball, softball and basketball. Maria participated in WWE Diva Search in 2004. She stood fifth in this contest. After joining WWE, Maria completed her wrestling training from Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). She made her debut in RAW as backstage interviewer on November 1, 2004. Maria had her first match in ring against Christy Hemme in Lingerie Pillow Fight on January 10, 2005 but she lost her first match. In 2006, Maria teamed up with John Cena against Edge and Lita and she register win there. Maria advances to finals of WWE Women’s Championship by defeating Victoria, Candice and Torrie Wilson in Fatal Four Way Bra and Panties Match on October 16, 2006. But she lost to Lita in semi finals. Maria began on screen romance with Santino in June 2007. About her personnel life she has a younger sister and a brother. While she was in Ohio Valley Wrestling she was dated with wrestler C M Punk. When Maria was 19 years old she was asked to pose for Playboy Magazine, but she refused. Later in 2008, she poses for cover issue of April 2008. For this Maria chose her own wardrobe and designs her own clothes. Maria along with Candice and Eve were on episode of “Sunset Tan”.
